Seat Mii Engine Trouble

Alright, so my 2015 Seat Mii with a gasoline engine is playing up. Done almost 191000 km. The engine sometimes just cuts out while I'm driving. Other times, it won't start at all. And when it does start, it runs really rough. Could it be the car ignition switch?

Sounds like a pain. I had a similar issue with my old Fiesta. When you turn the key, do any of the dashboard lights come on? And does the engine even try to turn over, or is it completely dead?

The dashboard lights do come on, yeah. And when I turn the key, I can hear a faint click, but the engine doesn't even try to start. Could it still be the ignition switch if the lights are working?

Okay, if the dashboard lights are on, but the engine won't crank, then it is likely the ignition switch itself. It might be worth checking the fuse for the ignition, but you will probably need to visit a workshop to get it properly diagnosed.

Cheers for the help. It was the ignition switch fuse! Cost me 52€ and the car is running again.
