Seat Mii Key Battery Issue

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2021 Seat Mii, gasoline engine. The vehicle has clocked 127295 km. I'm receiving a 'key battery low' warning. Consequently, the keyless access is non-functional, an error is stored in the error memory, and unlocking/locking is erratic. I suspect a dead key, perhaps due to an empty battery in the key. Has anyone encountered this before

I think I had something similar with my Mii. The keyless entry stopped working, and I remember seeing a warning light. I am not sure, but could it be the key battery perhaps? Have you tried the spare key to see if the same thing happens? I'm just wondering if it is a low voltage issue.

Yes, it was a specific key battery warning, if my memory serves me correctly. The spare key worked perfectly; that's how I knew it was the key battery and not something more serious with the car's system. To be absolutely certain, I would suggest visiting a workshop for a battery replacement.

You were right It was the key battery. A quick replacement at the workshop, and everything is working again. The auto key is responding instantly, and the error message is gone. The total cost was 37€ Thanks again for your help
