Seat Mii Radio Problems

My 2017 Seat Mii with a gasoline engine is having radio problems. The infotainment system sometimes shows an error message, and the audio often doesn't work at all. There's a lot of radio interference and static noise. The error memory has a fault stored. I suspect the antenna is defective. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my Seat Mii. The radio would cut out, and I'd get a lot of static. Does it happen all the time, or only in certain areas? Have you checked the antenna connection at the base? It might just be loose.

It's pretty constant; it happens everywhere. I haven't checked the antenna base itself. Where exactly is the antenna base located?

The antenna base is usually on the roof, at the back. If the connection seems fine, then it's likely the antenna itself is faulty, or the antenna booster if your car has one. I had the same symptoms, and it turned out to be the antenna. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop; they can diagnose it properly.

Thanks for the help. I took it to the shop, and they confirmed it was the antenna. A new one was fitted, costing 255€. The radio is working perfectly now.
