Seat Mii starting issue Terminal ignition positive interrupted

I am experiencing an intermittent issue with my 2019 Seat Mii, gasoline engine, with 177565 km on the odometer. The error memory indicates 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted,' resulting in the engine failing to start. Based on my assessment, the likely cause is a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered a similar issue, and if so, what steps did you take to resolve it?

Terminal 15 interrupted? Could be a power supply issue. Have you checked the battery terminal connections and the ignition switch? Maybe even a circuit break?

When you mention the battery terminal connections, are you referring specifically to corrosion or a loose connection? And regarding the ignition switch, is there a specific test I can perform to isolate that component?

Yeah, check for corrosion or looseness. As for the ignition switch, without proper tools, it's hard to test. Maybe it is best to get it to a workshop?

As suspected, it was a defective wiring harness connection related to Terminal 15. The repair including diagnostics came to 95€. Hopefully, this information will benefit others.
