Yeah, check for corrosion or looseness. As for the ignition switch, without proper tools, it's hard to test. Maybe it is best to get it to a workshop?

As suspected, it was a defective wiring harness connection related to Terminal 15. The repair including diagnostics came to 95€. Hopefully, this information will benefit others.
