Seat Tarraco 2023: Navigation and Audio System Failure at 73588 KM

Hey everyone, I'm driving a 2023 Seat Tarraco, running on gas with about 73588 KM on it. Recently, my navigation and audio systems went dead. I'm guessing it could be the speakerphone microphone messing up again. It's been pain since my last mechanic visit. Anyone faced something similar? What was your experience with mechanics? Appreciate any insights!

Hey there. I drive a 2020 Seat Ateca and faced something pretty similar, the Infotainment system went on the blink about a year ago. Wasn't the speakerphone microphone in my case though. I popped by my local garage and they pointed out it was a software issue with the system itself. They had to do a complete system reset and update. Not too serious, but sure was a hassle without my tunes for a week! Simple and sorted after that, not an issue since. Hope you get yours fixed without much trouble.

Hey there! Sounds like a bit of a headache you've gone through with your Seat Ateca. I've got a similar situation with my '23 Tarraco here. Really miss those road trip playlists since the navigation and audio systems went silent. I was suspecting the speakerphone microphone, but the software issue you've mentioned has left me thinking. Do you remember what damage it made to your wallet to get that system reset and update done? And thanks for the reassurance, but has anything else cropped up since then, or has it all been smooth cruising? Ugh, really hope I won't have to deal with any more surprises!

Hey! You're right, it was indeed a bit of a nuisance. But don't worry, your beloved '23 Tarraco will have its tunes back soon! As for the cost, I had to shell out 815€ to get that pesky Infotainment system back to working order. Not cheap, but definitely worth every penny for the peace of mind and smooth sounds! Good news though, the speakerphone microphone issue that I had been dealing with was taken care of when I saw the mechanic. So, fingers crossed you don't have to go through the same ordeal. Since getting these fixes, there's been no other nasty surprises - just easy riding and crystal clear music. Hope your Seat gives you the same once you've got it all sorted! Cheers!

That's a relief! Thanks for sharing your experience. As much as I'd like to avoid the expense, I suppose the €815.00 bill is a necessary evil for getting my '23 Tarraco back to its optimal state. Good to hear that your Ateca has been stable since the fix. Fingers crossed my old girl behaves likewise once the job's done. If I have any more trouble, I'll remember to check back with you for advice! Here’s to no more nasty surprises and a soundtrack-filled road ahead! Cheers!
