Seat Tarraco Battery Issues

Whoa, that sounds eerily familiar! I've got a Tarraco too. I had a similar episode a few months back. Battery kept draining, dashboard lit up, and the engine was struggling to start. Was a total nightmare! Have you checked the battery's resting voltage, or maybe even tried a different battery charging approach? Just throwing it out there, might be worth a shot!

Thanks for your response! When you say 'similar episode', do you mean the battery was completely dead, or just weak? And did you also suspect a battery failure initially, or did you focus on other potential issues?

Okay, so yeah, 'similar episode' meant the battery was basically dead. Each morning felt like a gamble whether the car would even start. Honestly, I thought it was a simple car battery issue at first, maybe just old age or something. I even considered jump-starting it a few times, but the problem kept coming back. That's when I took it to a workshop. If the dashboard is displaying error messages and the lights are acting up, honestly, I wouldn't mess with it too much. Best to have it checked by a professional. Could save you a headache in the long run!

Thanks for the input. I took it to the workshop, and it turned out to be a defective battery sensor, just like you suspected. The repair cost me 315€. Hopefully, this solves the problem permanently.
