Seat Tarraco Cruise Control Problem

I'm officially pulling my hair out! My 2023 Seat Tarraco with a diesel engine has decided to develop a cruise control issue. Error message pops up in the speedometer, and the cruise control is totally non-functional. Scanned it with a diagnostic tool, and it's throwing an error related to the cruise control system. Could be a cable or plug connection of the component defective, as I suspect. Any ideas? It's like the whole system just went offline!

I had a similar issue with my Tarraco. Cruise control became non-functional, and the error was stored in the memory. I recall it had something to do with the steering wheel controls. Perhaps a faulty system there?

Interesting! When you say 'steering wheel controls,' do you mean the actual buttons on the steering wheel, or is there something deeper inside the steering column that could be the culprit? Was the fix complicated?

By steering wheel controls, I meant more than just the buttons. The actuator itself or the wiring leading to it. It wasn't something I could fix myself, so I took it to a workshop. They sorted it out quickly, so I advise you to do the same.

Big thanks! Turns out you were spot on. Took it to the workshop, and it was indeed a dodgy cable connection to the cruise control actuator. 95€ later, and it's working perfectly again. Seriously appreciate the help!
