Seat Tarraco hybrid AC problem

I've got a problem with my 2022 Seat Tarraco hybrid. The air conditioning has stopped working. It's just blowing warm air, or sometimes nothing at all. The system doesn't seem to switch on. I suspect a defect in individual valves in the air conditioning system might be the cause. Anyone experienced similar AC efficiency issues? I am not sure about AC diagnostics, but I'll need to check that.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my previous car, a Peugeot 308. The AC just quit. Did you notice any unusual AC noise before it stopped working altogether? Sometimes that's a sign. And what about the temperature control; did it fluctuate wildly before the issue?

No unusual noise that I noticed, and the temperature control seemed normal. But what was the eventual cause in your Peugeot?

In my case, it was also the valves in the AC system. I'd suggest a proper AC diagnostics check at a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact problem. It's a common issue, apparently.

Thanks for your help. I took it to a workshop. Turns out you were right, some valves in the AC system were faulty. Cost me around 1000€ to get it sorted. Hopefully, AC maintenance will prevent this in the future.
