When you say check the wiring, what exactly should I be looking for? Is there anything specific about the plug I should pay attention to?

Okay, so if the blower motor isn't working and you have that sensor fault, it's highly likely that's the problem. Checking the wiring means looking for any obvious damage – cuts, fraying, or anything that looks out of the ordinary. For the plug, make sure it's securely connected and that none of the pins inside are bent or corroded. If you're not comfortable doing that, or don't see anything obvious, probably best to take it to a workshop. They should be able to diagnose it properly.

Just wanted to let you know the sensor fault was indeed the culprit. They replaced the air quality sensor, and now the climate control is working perfectly again. The cable and plug connection was indeed the issue. Cost me 95€. Thanks for your help.

That sounds like a pain. If the blower motor isn't working at all, and you're getting that error, it definitely points to the AUC sensor or its wiring. The BMW AUC sensor is known to cause problems in various vehicles, so it's not exclusive to Seat. Check the wiring and the plug going into the sensor. Where is the sensor located?
