Seat Tarraco hybrid engine issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Seat Tarraco hybrid is experiencing engine issues, including a check engine light, reduced power, stalling at idle, high fuel consumption, and a whistling noise during acceleration. The problem is suspected to be related to a boost pressure issue, possibly involving the wastegate valve. After checking the pressure sensor and receiving advice, the wastegate valve was identified as the culprit. Replacing the valve resolved the issue, restoring normal boost pressure.

Where exactly should I be looking? Is it difficult to access? And did you also hear that whistling noise?

The whistling noise is a giveaway. It's likely a wastegate issue. Access can be a bit tight, but follow the hoses from the turbo. If you are not mechanically inclined, it's best to take it to a workshop.

It was the wastegate valve. Replaced it, and the boost pressure is back to normal. Cost me 860€. Thanks for the insight!

Sounds like a boost leak. I had a similar issue with my Tarraco. Check the hoses connected to the turbo and throttle body. Could be a split or loose connection.
