Seat Tarraco rough running issue

My 2022 Seat Tarraco with a gasoline engine is giving me some grief. It's got 126940 km on the clock and recently started running really rough. The check engine light is on and there's a stored error. I'm also getting jerking when accelerating. I suspect a leak in the exhaust system. Could it also be the ignition coil?

Rough idle and jerking, eh? A Check Engine light is never a good sign. It could be a number of things, honestly. Have you noticed any change in your fuel economy? Maybe start with the basics – when was the last time you changed your air filter?

Okay, worse fuel economy and a crankshaft sensor suggestion... hmm, yeah, a crankshaft sensor could definitely cause those symptoms. But honestly, a leak in the exhaust system could also throw things off and cause engine misfire. I'm no expert, but with the check engine light on, it might be best to take it to a workshop to get properly diagnosed. Save yourself some headache, you know?

Good point about the air filter, I hadn't thought of that. It's probably been a while. Regarding fuel economy, it does seem slightly worse than usual, but I mostly drive short distances. Also, someone suggested it could be the crankshaft sensor. What do you think?

It was a small leak in the exhaust system, like I suspected. I replaced a section of the pipe, which cost 265€. It runs smooth as butter now. I appreciate the input.
