I am writing to report a function restriction with my Seat Tarraco, build year 2021, gasoline engine. I am unable to connect my smartphone to the car's system. An error is stored in the error memory. The likely cause, according to initial diagnostics, is incorrect pairing with the end device. I seek advice on potential solutions before pursuing professional repair, especially considering steering and other vital systems could be affected.

I have a Tarraco as well, though I haven't experienced that exact issue. However, I did have some weird connectivity problems with my phone a while back. Have you tried deleting the car from your phone's Bluetooth settings and then re-pairing it? Sometimes that clears up simple glitches.

Yes, it did store an error, although I don't recall the exact code. No, it didn't seem to affect anything else, just the Bluetooth connection. If you've already tried re-pairing and it's still happening, it might be worth having a workshop take a look. Could be a software glitch needing a reset.

The issue was the pairing. The car's system needed a reset and re-pairing with my phone. The workshop confirmed it and the electrical faults were cleared. Cost me 45€.
