Yes, the malfunction indicator was on. Did you also get an error stored in the error memory?

Yep, same symptoms. Steering controls stopped working, error message, the whole deal. Best bet is to get it checked at a workshop.

Thanks for the info. I took it to the shop, and vehicle diagnostics confirmed a defective cable connection in the steering wheel. They sorted it for 95€. Steering controls are working again!
