Seat Tarraco turn signal issue

I've got a 2021 Seat Tarraco, diesel engine. Recently, the turn signal lamp started acting up. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, plus an error message pops up in the speedometer, and obviously the lighting is faulty. From what I've read, it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else had this? Trying to avoid a massive bill from the dealer. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you've got a similar issue to what I had with my Tarraco. I was getting a light error on the dash and it turned out to be a faulty connection to one of the indicator lights. Have you checked the flasher relay? Sometimes that can cause weird issues with the automotive lighting system.

Cheers for the quick reply! When you say dodgy connection, do you mean the bulb replacement itself wasn't seated properly, or something more like a frayed wire causing problems with the indicator light?

Yeah, in my case, it wasn't the bulb replacement itself. It was the actual connector and wiring going to the indicator light. Best bet is to get it checked out by a professional. Could save you a headache in the long run.

Thanks a lot for the information! I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on. It was a dodgy connection to the indicator light. They cleaned it up and replaced a small section of the wiring. All fixed for 95€! Appreciate the help.
