Seat Toledo Alarm System Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Seat Toledo owner experienced a complete failure of the alarm system, with a diagnostic scan indicating a fault in the cable or plug connection. The issue was resolved by addressing a faulty connection, costing 95€ at a local garage. The problem was likely due to a corroded connector, and professional repair was recommended to avoid further complications.

Yeah, alarm's completely unresponsive. Fuses are fine. When you say 'similar', was it definitely the siren itself, or could it be something else causing the issue?

Definitely sounds like the same problem. I messed about trying to find the fault myself, but honestly, electrics aren't my strong point. I'd just get it to a garage, save yourself the headache. Could be a corroded connector somewhere. Is it worth the risk of potentially causing a bigger security breach yourself?

Cheers for the help. Ended up being a dodgy connection, just like you said. 95€ at the local garage and the alarm's back in business.

That sounds rough. I had something similar happen with my Toledo, although I can't recall the exact error code. Was your alarm just completely dead? Have you checked the fuses?
