Seat Toledo Cruise Control Failure
Summary of the thread
The cruise control on a 2009 Seat Toledo stopped working, and an error was stored in the car's memory. The mechanic suggested that the issue might be due to a defective cable or plug connection. After considering possible causes like a blown fuse or faulty sensors, the problem was confirmed to be a defective cable, which was repaired at a local shop for 95€, restoring the cruise control functionality.

Where exactly is the fuse for the cruise control located? And how can I check the throttle position and speed sensors?

The fuse box diagram should be in your owner's manual. As for the sensors, that's trickier. You'd need an OBD scanner to read their values. Honestly, if you're not comfortable with that, taking it to a workshop might be best. They have the tools to diagnose it properly. Sounds like the mechanic already suspects a cable issue, which matches your error code.

Thanks a lot! Took it to the local shop and they found a defective cable. It cost me 95€ including labor. Cruise control is working again, so I'm happy.

I had a similar problem with my Seat Leon, same brand as yours. First thing I'd check is the fuse box. A blown fuse can disable the cruise control. Have you checked the throttle position sensor and the speed sensor? Sometimes a faulty reading there can also cause issues.
