Seat Toledo diesel engine issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Seat Toledo diesel experienced engine issues, including a check engine light, reduced power, and rough running. A diagnostic tool indicated an error related to the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. A faulty IAT sensor can cause these symptoms, and replacing it resolved the issues, restoring smooth engine operation and clearing the error codes.

Thanks for your quick reply! Did your diagnostic tool also point to the air sensor, or were there other error codes? And did replacing it solve all the engine issues?

Yes, the diagnostic tool pointed directly to the IAT sensor in my case too. Replacing the temperature sensor fixed all the problems, the engine ran fine after that. I suggest you visit a workshop.

Took the Toledo to a local workshop. They confirmed it was the IAT sensor. Replaced it, and the check engine light is gone; engine runs smoothly again. The diagnostic tool doesn't show any errors anymore. Total cost was 155€, which is within my budget. Thanks for your help!

Sounds like a faulty intake air temperature sensor. Had similar engine issues with my Toledo a while back. Check engine light, rough running. I'd suggest getting it checked with a diagnostic tool to confirm.
