Thanks for the tip! I didn't see any fuel leaks, but I'll double-check. Where was the issue on your car? Did you also notice increased fuel consumption or smoke when accelerating?

I misspoke, it wasn't a leak. It was a faulty connection to the injector. Caused all sorts of havoc, just like you described. Honestly, I would take it to a shop. They can diagnose it properly and it might be something you can't easily fix. They'll have the right tools to check the electrical connections and the injectors. Could save you time and frustration, before it becomes a big maintenance job.

Took it to the shop, and you were right! It was a faulty plug connection to the injector. They replaced it, charged me 95€, and now it runs great. Thanks for your help!

I had a similar issue with my Toledo, though it was a while ago. Reduced power and rough idling sound familiar. Did you check for any obvious fuel leaks around the injectors? Sometimes a small diesel leak can cause big problems.
