Seat Toledo Keyless Access Problem

My 2012 Seat Toledo diesel has developed a rather annoying problem. The keyless access has completely stopped working. I scanned the error memory, and it's showing an error related to the door electronics. From what I've gathered, it's likely a cable or plug connection issue somewhere in the door. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I had a similar issue with my Seat Toledo. The keyless entry stopped working intermittently. Have you checked the door actuator? It could be a sensor issue there. Does the error memory indicate which door is causing the problem?

Thanks for the quick response. I haven't specifically checked the door actuator yet. I'll take a look. Do you recall if your error code pointed to a specific door switch, or was it more general?

Yes, the error code was initially quite general, something like 'door electronics malfunction'. The workshop diagnosed it down to a faulty connection within the door. Considering that you've already identified a potential cause, I'd still recommend having it checked professionally. It might save you some time and further headaches.

Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. They found a defective cable/plug connection in the door electronics. 95€ later, and the keyless entry is working again. Thanks for the help!
