Thanks for the quick reply I did check the fuses, and they seem fine. Where exactly was the electrical fault in your case Was it difficult to access

Okay, if the fuses are good, it's likely the connector itself. I didn't fix mine myself, I took it to a workshop. They told me it was a corroded connection right at the mirror. They cleaned it and re-seated it. My fault was on the driver's side car mirror. If you're not comfortable with electrical work, maybe it's best to get a professional to look at it. Better safe than sorry with car electrics.

Took the Toledo to the workshop, and you were spot on A faulty plug connection on the mirror. The 95€ estimate was pretty accurate too. Thanks again for the help

Sounds familiar I had a similar problem with my Toledo mirror heating last winter. Cold weather seems to highlight any electrical fault. Have you checked the fuses It could be a simple fix. It's like when a lightbulb blows – sometimes it's just the bulb, not the wiring.
