Traction control light? I hadn't noticed. Were you also experiencing increased effort required when steering? What exactly fixed your issue?

Yeah, the traction control light flickered sometimes. Definitely increased effort when steering – felt like driving an old truck without power steering. Turns out, the steering sensor needed some attention. It’s like the sensor lost its mind and started feeding wrong info to the system. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop; they'll know exactly what to do.

Took it to a mechanic and you were spot on. It was indeed the steering sensor coding. They recoded it, and the power steering is back to normal, and the shaking is gone. Cost me 195€. Thanks for the help!

Wow, that sounds eerily familiar! I had something similar happen with my Toledo. Not sure about the year, but it also felt like the power steering was giving up, and the steering wheel had a weird vibration. Did the traction control light come on too?
