Seat Toledo rough running issue
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Seat Toledo with a gasoline engine is experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The initial suspicion is an issue with the ignition system, possibly a bad cable or plug connection. It is suggested to check the coil pack and its connections, as a defective coil could cause these symptoms. After replacing the faulty coil pack, the car runs smoothly again.

Where exactly should I be looking for connection issues? Is it obvious?

Likely a defective cable or plug on the coil pack. A workshop should be able to run vehicle diagnostics to confirm and replace the faulty coil.

The defective coil pack was the problem. Repair cost 95€, and the car runs great now.

Sounds like a coil failure. I had similar engine hesitation in my Toledo. Check the coil pack and connections first.
