Seat Toledo Wiper Problem

Turn signal and cruise control seem fine. Rain sensor I haven't tested yet. Where exactly was the defective plug connection in your case? Anything specific I should look for?

Mine was indeed the plug directly into the wiper switch. Couldn't see any damage, but the mechanic cleaned the contacts, and that fixed it temporarily. The issue came back after a while, and I had to change the plug completely. If cleaning doesn't help, I suggest you take it to a workshop to get it checked. It's fiddly work, and you could mess up the electrics.

Thanks for confirming. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on! Defective plug connection. 95€ later, and the car wipers work perfectly again.

I had similar issues with my Toledo, although I don't recall the year. Does the turn signal or cruise control also act up? The rain sensor for the car wipers might also be affected. It sounds like a cable issue, perhaps the plug for the wiper switch itself. Check the voltage with a multimeter or take it to a workshop.
