Yes, the error code points directly to the idle air control valve. Was your Opel's intake also heavily contaminated? Did you end up replacing the valve, or cleaning it?

I ended up taking it to a workshop as I didn't have the right tools. They confirmed the intake was heavily contaminated and the valve was faulty. They advised replacement was the best option.

Thanks for the info! I took it to my local mechanic, and after checking, he came to the same conclusion. Heavily contaminated intake and a faulty valve. The repair will cost about 425€, but hopefully that will solve the problem.
