Hi! Thanks for the helpful advice. It's good to hear that your problem got fixed, gives me some hope! Just to note, my Sandero's already clocked up 81202 KM on the engine. It got its last service recently too. Your insights about the door handle electronics and the control unit could be the root cause, that's something I'll definitely follow up on. In regards to the cost, well, I guess you can't put a price on safety! I'll keep an eye on my car's symptoms and post an update soon. Fingers crossed it can be sorted out without too many headaches. Cheers for the assistance!

No worries! Glad I could help. I totally get ya, car issues can be a real pain, and especially with your Sandero being a bit on the "experienced" side with those 81202 KM. Did you notice any issues during or after the last service, by the way? Given the symptoms you mentioned and my personal experience with my Duster, it does sound like it could be something with the connection to the door handle electronics and the control unit. £110 out my pocket wasn't the best, but you're right that safety comes first, always. Looking forward to your update. Hopefully, it's a simple and modest-pricing fix. Best of luck with it, and keep us posted!

Thanks for the reassurance. Nah, the last service was pretty smooth, didn't cause any problems. It was pretty routine: oil and filter change, overall check and tire pressure. Trust me, if I'd known I was signing up for this, I would've raised an eyebrow or two at the mechanic! But it does feel like we're onto something with the door handle electronics. It's the kind of thing that might get brushed off as minor until it turns into a more serious issue, like what's happening with my Dacia. Your input's led my inquiries in the right direction. I'll have the workshop take a closer look, and I'll let you know how it goes. Keeping my fingers crossed for a light hit to the wallet! Thanks once again, appreciate the help.

Hey there, I had a similar issue with my 2019 Dacia Duster (Diesel engine). Before I start, let me tell you that I have some experience dealing with car issues. So, I took this to my trusted workshop and we found out the cable connection to the outside door handle electronics to the control unit was defective. It was a bit of a headache, especially with the lights flickering as with yours, but once we identified the problem, the fix wasn't too complicated. It did cost me about 110€ though, so make sure you're ready for that. But hey, better safe than sorry, right? Also, it might be helpful if you could let me know more about your vehicle, like the model, age, mileage and so on - could make it easier to figure out what your issue could be. Let me know how it goes!
