Hi there, both of you! I've had a similar experience with my own Seat Tarraco a while back. Swapping the battery did the trick for me, just like. I'd second that suggestion. By the way, how much did you get set back by to sort this issue? Repair costs can be a real bummer, and it’d be good to have a rough estimate. Any other problems pop up since you got the battery replaced? Catch you on the flip side!

Hey! Good to see another Tarraco owner on here. Yeah, the battery thing can be a bit of a bummer, and it did set me back a fair bit. For me, the cost was around 290€ to get my secondary battery fixed, but it absolutely solved the problem. Ever since then, the car's been running smoother than ever. No complaints at all. Like I mentioned earlier, the mechanics ruled out any issues with the electrical system or the alternator, so I'm pretty confident that it was the battery giving me all the trouble. So, if your lights are dimming and the start-ups are weak, definitely get your battery checked out at a trusted local garage. The juice is indeed worth the squeeze! See ya around!

Hello, thanks to both of you for the responses! It's nice to hear from people who've been through the same situation, and your experiences do confirm my initial thoughts about the secondary battery being the culprit. And for your question,, I'm prepared for the cost. I mean it's way better to pay up front and solve the problem than to keep dealing with a faulty car, right? Plus, hearing that's car's been running smoothly after the fix gives me peace of mind. I'll keep your advice in mind and get my battery checked and likely replaced at a local garage I trust. Fingers crossed that'll sort everything out. Thanks once more for the advice! Catch ya later!

Hey there! I feel your pain. I had a similar issue with my 2021 Seat Leon not that long ago. The symptoms were pretty much the same - dimmed lights, weak start-ups, wonky satnav - you name it. I quickly figured it would likely be a battery issue. I took it to my local garage, and after running a few tests, they concluded it was indeed the battery. Apparently, these can get wonky after a certain mileage, and that's what happened with my Leon. They replaced the factory-installed battery with a new one, checked and confirmed the issue wasn't with the alternator or the electrical system. It was a bit of a job, yes, but nothing a reputable mechanic can't handle without sweating bullets. So, I'd say your guts are right, and that troublesome secondary battery needs a checkup, maybe even a swap-out. Hope this helps and best of luck with your Tarraco. Peace!
