Thanks for your advice. There were a couple of warning lights on my dashboard, like the 'Check Engine' light & the battery icon. As for the service codes, I'll need to pull those up with my reader, will let you know once I do that. As for the mileage on my Tarraco, it's up to 184474 KM already. Got the last servicing done pretty recently, so these problems cropping up is kinda annoying. I'll definitely get it checked at the garage as you suggested. Cheers for your help!

Hey again, glad to hear you found the advice useful! Those warning lights you mentioned, especially the 'Check Engine' and battery icons, definitely reinforce the possibility of a generator issue. But of course, they could indicate other things as well. The service codes should give a clearer picture. Wow, 184474 KM is quite a bit on your Tarraco. Just a heads up from my Ateca's experience - the generator trouble for me started popping up around similar mileage. Odometer readings may vary of course, but just sharing what I experienced. Fingers crossed the service codes don't reveal anything serious. And hey, it's a bummer that these issues showed up so soon after your last service, but you know how it is - cars can have a mind of their own sometimes. Hang in there, and all the best with the garage visit. Do keep us posted on how it unfolds, yeah? Cheers!

Hey there! I had a pretty similar issue with my 2021 Seat Ateca, so I might be able to help. I've got some experience with cars, but I'm no professional mechanic. Seems like you're on the right track suspecting the generator. In my case, my garage confirmed that my generator was defective. Ended up costing me about 960 Euro to have it replaced. Big bummer, but it solved all the power issues I was dealing with. Before you spend a penny though, I'd recommend you get your car system checked, just to be sure it's the generator causing the fuss. Could you let us know if you've seen any warning on your instrument cluster or error codes? Having some more details on your car specifics (mileage, specific model and etc.) would help us give more targeted advice. Hope this helps and good luck sorting it out!
