In my experience, it's usually something pretty serious. Start-up was a nightmare, similar to what your ride's going through. Took it to my local garage and they pinpointed the issue pretty quick - those blokes knew their stuff. Basically, they had to replace the faulty glow plug and it was no small job. Ended up being in the shop for a good couple of days. Anyway, get your mechanic to check it out. Sure, it's a bit of a pain, but take it from me, you'd be a lot better off dealing with it sooner rather than later. All the best!

Howdy! Yeah, I remember the cost quite clearly because it was pretty steep – had to part with 560€ to get the glow plug fixed. But honestly, it was worth every penny considering the peace of mind I got after it was sorted. Since then, everything's been smooth sailing.
