Summary of the thread
An '09 Nissan Pino owner is experiencing a persistent warning light on the speedometer, suspecting it might be due to low brake fluid. Hey, thanks for the quick response! Well, apart from the warning light that I mentioned earlier, my Pino has been acting pretty much normal. Mileage is at 127060KM, and I've just had it serviced recently. It's making no unusual sounds, no loss in brake performance, and the fluid levels seem to be fine. So pretty much, just that persisting light. But as you've suggested, I'll go ahead and consult with a mechanic. All this talk about brake issues making me paranoid, better be safe than sorry right? Cheers!

Hey, you're always welcome! I totally get you about the brake issues making you paranoid. I was in the exact same boat, and trust me, consulting a mechanic is indeed the smart move. Speaking of which, since you're not experiencing any loss in brake performance or unusual noises and your fluid levels are also fine, it could just be that the warning light in your speedometer is faulty. Sometimes the warning system itself can malfunction. On my Cube, I had an issue where my engine warning light stayed on even after the issue was resolved. Had the mechanic reset the system and it was fine since then. So, it might just be a false alarm, but it's good to have it checked anyway. Hang in there! Keep me posted. Safe driving!

You got it,! Appreciate the advice heaps. Honestly, I hadn't even thought about a faulty warning light. Just got too caught up in the idea of a major brake problem. But you're right, can't rule anything out before the mechanic takes a proper look. I'll drop by the garage tomorrow and see what's up. Don't worry, I'll keep you posted. Here's to hoping it's just a small glitch! Safe driving to you too. Cheers!

Hey there! Coincidentally, I had a similar issue with my '07 Nissan Cube. I consider myself as having some experience with cars, but when it comes to brake system, it gets a bit tricky. Ended up at the workshop and found out that my brakes were worn out. They replaced it for me and it cost me about 480 Euro. But, don't just take my word for it, document everything you notice about the issue and consult a professional. Could you provide more specifics about what's happening with your car? The more info, the better. Cheers!
