Seeking Advice on 2014 Fiat Linea's Blower and Heating/Cooling System Issues, Suspected AUC Sensor Signal Error

Hey everyone, I've run into a bit of a problem with my 2014 Fiat Linea (Gasoline model). The blower seems a bit off and the heating/cooling system isn't doing its job properly. I have a hunch it might be an AUC sensor signal error. Has anyone faced something similar and got it fixed? Would love to hear about your experiences with this issue and any helpful tips for troubleshooting. Thanks!

Summary of the thread

A 2014 Fiat Linea is experiencing issues with its blower and heating/cooling system, suspected to be caused by an AUC sensor signal error. A similar problem was resolved in a Fiat Punto by replacing a defective AUC sensor, which was a relatively inexpensive fix. It is suggested to check and possibly replace the AUC sensor to resolve the issue and prevent further complications.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Hey there. I had something similar happen with my 2016 Fiat Punto a while back. Not a car expert here, just a guy with some limited hands-on experience. I traced the issue back to a defective AUC sensor. Took it to my local workshop and they replaced it for me. Didn't burn a hole in my pocket, only cost about 90 Euro. By the way, could you share more about your vehicle? Like any recent changes or modifications? That could help me to understand your problem better! Hang in there!

Hola amigo! Really appreciate the input. No major changes or modifications recently. I have clocked about 106779 km on this baby. Last service was done not too long ago. I suppose I'll check out the AUC sensor and let you know how it goes. Thanks again for the advice! Cheers.

Hey you're welcome! Your mileage and recent service make me believe more strongly that the AUC sensor might be the culprit. Considering everything's almost similar to my case. Remember, better safe than sorry. So even if it turns out not to be the AUC sensor, getting it checked won't hurt. Besides, a malfunctioning AUC sensor can cause other problems too, like it did in my case, so getting it replaced should add to the overall well-being of your beloved Linea. Drop us an update when you can, eager to know how it goes! Drive safe.

Hey! Appreciate the reassurances. I'll prioritize getting the AUC sensor checked out then. I'll definitely update you and the community after I get this checked. Your insights have really put my mind at ease. Until then, happy motoring! Cheers.
