Hey there, thanks for the tip! Glad to hear it was just the switch for your Punto - sounds like less of a headache. I think I'll get them to check out the switch with my Palio too. Do you recall how much the switch replacement set you back? And have you had any more gremlins with the windows since? Cheers.

Hey, good plan to check out that switch! As for the cost, I remember shelling out around 130€ to swap out the little bugger - it wasn't too bad in the bigger scheme of things. Since that, my Punto's windows have been behaving, thank goodness. Pretty sure the mechanic fixed the window regulator malfunctions along with the switch, so hopefully you'll have similar luck. Catch ya later and let us know how it goes!

Hey, that's pretty reassuring to know! I'm relieved the price ain't too steep. Yep, will run a check on that pesky window switch first thing tomorrow. Top stuff for sharing your experience - puts my mind at ease. I'll keep you all posted about how it turns out with the mechanic. Thanks again, cheers!

Hey! I can feel your dilemma. I've got a 2012 Fiat Punto and had a similar issue last year. My power windows were fussing up too and I also first thought it was the window regulator. Turned out it was actually the window switch that was defective. Had it checked in my garage and the lads there determined it wasn't the regulator. They simply replaced the window switch and it started working fine after that. From my experience, it was more of an annoyance than a serious issue. So don't stress yourself over it. Might be worth giving it a look in your case as well. Best of luck!
