Hey there, oh your experience sounds no fun either! I clocked up about 164,627 KM on my Forte. Last service, let's see, that was a while ago. Much appreciated for the input. Heard about the high pressure pump too, definitely going to ask my mechanic to take a look at it.

Hey again! Ah, your mileage is quite high, and depending on when exactly "a while ago" was for your last service, that could explain some of the issues. High mileage and infrequent maintenance can put a lot of wear and tear on your vehicle, and it sounds like your Forte might be feeling the effects of that. Given your symptoms, yeah, I still believe the high-pressure pump could be at fault. But, keep in mind, a less than stellar fuel system can make a car behave weird. Faulty fuel volume regulators aren't that common, but it is worth checking out too. Also considering your symptoms, it might be worth asking your mechanic to have a gander at the fuel injectors and the fuel filter while they're at it. Hope you get your Forte back to fighting form soon! And let us know what the verdict is when you can. Nothing better than a solved mystery to help out the next guy in trouble, eh? Keep us posted!

Hi again! Yep, my mileage is indeed high and you're bang on about the last service being way too back. I can see how it might've put extra strain on ol' Forte. I'm gleaning valuable insights here. Makes total sense now, the high-pressure pump along with a general check on the fuel system. Didn't think about the fuel injectors and fuel filter, but will make sure mechanic guy gives 'em a good look. Can't thank you enough! Will definitely update you once the mystery's solved. In it together, eh? Cheers!

Hey there, sounds like a right headache you've got with your Forte! Just so happens, I had a very similar issue with my 2015 Kia Optima, petrol too. I ain't no grease monkey mind you, but I've got some garage experience from my own car troubles. Ended up having a defective high-pressure pump causing all that malarkey in mine. Cost me 1510€ at my local workshop to get it sorted, but boy, did it do the trick! Car's been running smoothly as butter since then. Seems like a potential culprit for your situation too. You might wanna get in touch with your mechanic and ask 'em to check the high-pressure pump. By the way, can you tell me more about your Forte - mileage, maintenance history? Could help give me a clearer picture to advise further!
