Summary of the thread
A 2019 Volvo S60 Diesel is experiencing an Airbag warning light and storing an unspecified fault, suspected to be an Airbag system failure. Hey! Thanks for the fast reply. So, my bumpy ride is an S60 model and she's trotted quite a few miles, about 102,095 KM to be precise, since her last service. Apart from the Airbag warning light being stubborn, there are no other symptoms, really. Drives pretty well, no weird noises or anything of that sort. I was flooded with relief to hear that your issue was fixed for free but let's see how lucky I am, eh? Really appreciate your time and help! Cheers.

Hey again! Glad to hear your ride is robust despite those miles. Given what you've shared, my hunch still leans toward a faulty Airbag system component like in my case. The lack of other symptoms certainly helps reinforce that idea. In another situation, the shop found a loose connector triggering the light - a simple fix really, but only after a good amount of head scratching! Remember though, even if I was fortunate enough to get it sorted for free, that doesn't always stand true for every case. So keep those fingers crossed! In the end, a diagnostic scan is your best bet. If you can get your hands on an OBD2 scanner that’ll read your SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) codes, you might be able to at least confirm what the fault is. Best of luck with getting this resolved, and do keep us posted on what the workshop discovers! Cheers!

Sounds like a plan! I'll get my hands on that OBD2 scanner as suggested. With any luck, they'll pinpoint the problem straight away. No need to guess when you've got tech on your side, right? By the way, fingers already crossed and tightly so! Thanks again for being a sport. I'll definitely keep you posted. Until then, safe drives and cheers!

Hey there! Funny thing, I had a similar problem with my 2017 Volvo V60 a while back. Now, I'm certainly no expert (guess I'd say I have some car experience), so take my advice with a grain of salt. When I had that Airbag system warning, I took it to my local workshop. The mechanic ran some diagnostics and told me there were some defective Airbag system components. Surprisingly, it cost 0 Euro to fix, so count your lucky stars. Of course, every car's different and yours might have its own unique quirks. Could you let me know its exact model, mileage, and any other specific symptoms? That’d help in offering more detailed advice! Cheers!
