Hey there! Thanks for the quick reply and sharing your experience – that's very helpful! I was also suspecting it might not be the throttle valve but couldn't pin it down. I'd never considered the Accelerator Pedal Module, but it sounds probable given your similar experience with your Leon. As per your questions, the engine usually shuts down while I'm accelerating at lower speeds, and the car is totally stock with no modifications. I had it serviced last at 94156 KM, and the symptoms started to show up shortly after, which is quite puzzling. I think I'll go with your suggestion and have a local workshop check the Accelerator Pedal Module. If that's indeed the culprit, a €205 fix doesn't sound too bad compared to other potential engine repairs. Thanks again for your valuable input. I'll keep you all posted on how things go!

Hey, no problem,! Accelerating at lower speeds, huh? Hmm, yeah, that does feel consistent with a possible Accelerator Pedal Module issue. If it's losing signal or going haywire, it can mess with the throttle response, leading to the issues you're experiencing. Since your Tarraco is stock and was serviced not too long ago, a defective part does seem likely. I remember when I had my Leon checked, they performed some diagnostic tests to confirm the problem. It was pretty straightforward for them, so hopefully, it will be the same for your car. About the cost, it certainly was a relief that it wasn't something more expensive. If your workshop confirms it's the module, hopefully, the cost will be in the same ballpark. Looking forward to hearing how it goes! Fingers crossed that your Seat is back in shape soon. If you have any other questions or need more advice, feel free to ask. We're here to help each other out. Cheerio!

Hey again,! Thanks a lot for going above and beyond with the explanation and for your invaluable advice. From everything you've said, it really does sound like it could be the Accelerator Pedal Module. You've given me a very good place to start, and I'm relieved that it may not be as bad as I initially thought. I'll definitely get the car booked in with the local workshop and mention this specifically to them. Hopefully, it will indeed be a straightforward diagnosis as was the case with your Leon! I appreciate your support a lot and will keep everyone here updated. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly and the Tarraco is back running in top shape soon! If I have any other questions or if something else pops up, I'll definitely hit you guys up. Thanks again, dude, you've been awesome! Cheers!

Hey! I had a very similar experience with my 2018 Seat Leon, so I might have some useful insights for you! Just to clarify, I'm no auto mechanic, but I do have a bit of hands-on experience fixing car problems, mainly because I tinker around with cars in my spare time. In my case, I initially suspected the throttle valve as you did, but it turned out that the issue was with the Accelerator Pedal Module. This apparently got defective, and lead to erratic driving symptoms very similar to what you described in your Tarraco. I took it to my local shop, and they quickly pinpointed the issue. After replacing the module, things got back to normal. The overall repair cost me about 205 Euro. However, keep in mind that just because these issues were identical in my case doesn't necessarily mean they'll be the same on every occasion. Some more details about when these problems occur or any additional symptoms might help give a more accurate diagnosis. For example, does the engine shut down while accelerating, decelerating, or cruising? And does your car have any aftermarket modifications or is it stock? Information like this could provide a clearer picture. Hope this helps and your Tarraco gets back on the road soon!
