Seat heating without function

Hey champ, sorry for the late response! It did cost a pretty penny, I won't lie. The job of fixing that defective seat heating mat came out to be exactly 390€. Not exactly cheap, but considering the comfort and joy of a toasty ride on winter mornings, I'd say it was worth it! And as for any other issues, since the fix, my Megane GT has been running hotter than a fresh pancake! No more chills for me. So looks like it's smooth sailing here, my friend. Hope that puts your mind at ease with your Arkana! Keep me posted, okay? Cheers!
Hello, you really took quite a load off my mind. Yeah, it's steep but considering the joy of a warm ride in winter, totally justified if you ask me. I'll take my Arkana to the mechanic and get this dealt with. Fingers crossed for a smooth fix, just like yours! Really appreciate the info. Will keep you updated. Cheers!
Hey, just had a similar issue on my 2017 Renault Megane GT. Seat heater gave up on me on chilly mornings, pretty annoying! Took it to a garage, they checked it out. Turns out it was the heating mat on the seat that was defective - quite a hassle! They had to dismantle the seat to get to the heating element. It wasn't exactly a picnic for sure, but not the end of the world. I suppose anything hard-wired into the seat is bound to be a bit tricky. Think of it this way - it’s not as serious as engine or transmission troubles! All in, try not to worry too much about it. It's a bummer, but once fixed, it was all good. Hope this helps!
