Hey there! Cheers for sharing your experience. Definitely sounds like a similar hassle with what my Tarraco is giving me. Just curious though, do you recall roughly how much it cost you to get that all sorted? And has there been any other problems with your steering since their fix? Thanks a bunch!

Hey! Honestly, I do remember the cost - it was around 155€. They fixed up that steering column motor cable connection, and thankfully, it didn't break the bank! Since then, no more wrestling matches with my steering wheel! The mechanic did his job right, and there's been no new troubles ever since. The Tarraco should handle just fine after a fix like that. So don't fret, your ride will be back in top shape before you know it. Keep us posted! Cheers!

Really appreciate your insight! A fair price considering it's a major component, huh. It's good to know that a fix isn't usually followed by more troubles. I'll definitely look for a mechanic with a solid reputation and get my Tarraco sorted real soon. Last thing any of us needs is a wrestling match on the road, right! Thanks again, and certainly will keep you all updated. Cheers!

Hey! Had a similar issue with my 2018 Seat Leon. The steering column motor cable connection was indeed defective. Felt like I was wrestling with the wheel sometimes. Took it to my local garage and turned out it's a pretty essential fix. The bloke there ended up replacing the steering column motor and reconnected the cables properly. It took them a day or two to get everything in order and back to running smoothly. So I'd say, get it checked out. Ignoring it could potentially lead to further damage or even a safety hazard while driving. Finding a trustworthy mechanic is key, so maybe get some recommendations. Good luck with it!
