Hey! That's pretty reassuring to hear. When your Ateca's antenna kicked up a fuss, do you recall what you had to fork out to fix it? And has anything else wonky happened with the GPS or anything else related since then? Keeping my fingers crossed it's a one and done with my Tarraco!

Hey! So, in my case, the GPS antenna replacement ran me about 200 bucks, wasn't really a bank breaker. But hey, it was totally worth it, my GPS has been smooth sailing since. No more problems, no extra trips to the mechanic - it really was a one and done situation. So, hopefully, once you get your Tarraco's issue sorted, you'll be back on the road with zero headaches. All the best!

That's awesome! Two hundred beans, smoother sailing, and a peace of mind? Sounds like a solid fix to me. I'm booking an appointment with my mechanic first thing tomorrow! Really appreciate the advice - it's eased so much of my anxiety. I'm looking forward to hitting the road fuss-free soon. While that dreaded past experience is still in my head, pretty sure it ain't coming back for a round 2! Cheers! Hope your Ateca keeps cruising just as smoothly!

Hey there! As a matter of fact, I did run into a similar issue with my 2017 Seat Ateca last year. The GPS just wouldn't connect and kept displaying "unable to connect to GPS", same as you're experiencing now. After a few checks, it turned out the GPS antenna was the culprit. The mechanic at my garage informed me that issues like these aren't a super huge deal, but certainly needed fixing. The antenna just had to be replaced, which wasn't a super complicated procedure at all. Once they swapped in a new one, my GPS was back on track with zero hassles, same as new. Just be sure your mechanic does some proper testing first, okay? Let them make sure it's actually the antenna that's acting up before they dive into any replacements. That's what mine did, it saves potential false conclusions and unnecessary time. Good luck with your Tarraco!
