Power windows malfunction

Hey there, That’s interesting, you're not the first one I've heard having trouble with the windows on their Renault. I'm grappling with something similar with my Arkana. Spot on about it being more of an irritation than a big problem, though. Hey, do you remember roughly how much the garage charged you to replace the assembly? And has your window switch held up okay since the fix or did anything else pop up? Just want to know what I might be getting myself into, if you catch my drift. Cheers!
Hey, Yeah, you're right about it being more of an irritant than a real problem. About the repair cost for the switch, it came out around 130€, which wasn't too hard on the pocket. And to answer your other question, since the mechanic got to it, my window switch has been pretty solid and hasn't given me any problems - it was definitely the right decision to get it fixed. The window regulator malfunction got sorted out and everything's been running laminate-wood smooth since then. What I'm saying is, you don't have to panic just yet. Take a deep breath, bring your Arkana to the garage, and let the professional handle it - it could turn out to be another simple window switch job. Cheers and good luck!
Hey there, Cheers for the details, really appreciated! You've eased my nerves a bit. €130 isn't too bad, and if it's just another case of a faulty window switch, then that's more of an inconvenience than a serious concern. Keeping my fingers crossed it's nothing more serious. I'll make an appointment with the garage tomorrow and let the mechanic handle it. Quite relieved it worked out for you and hopefully, it will for me too. Thanks again for the assurance! Good chat, see you around!
Hey, Funny you should mention it because my 2020 Renault Kadjar ran into a similar trouble around 115,000 km. Not an expert myself but my hunch was a faulty window switch, not the regulator. Pulled up to the garage, the mechanic ran some tests and sure enough, it was the window switch causing the drama. They replaced the whole assembly, no fuss whatsoever. Once the mechanic was done, windows were back to running smooth as silk. All in, it wasn't a humongous issue. Pretty satisfied with the whole ordeal, more of an annoyance than anything serious. So no reason to stress, might just be a simple window switch replacement job. Hope this helps! Cheers!
