Seeking Advice on 2024 Seat Tarraco Hybrid's Air Conditioning and Blower Issues

Hey everyone, I've been having some trouble with my 2024 Seat Tarraco Hybrid. It's not heating or cooling like it should, and the blower isn't up to snuff either. I'm suspecting it may have something to do with an Air conditioning error that's been flagged. Has anyone else faced a similar problem? If yes, how did you get it fixed at your workshop? Any tips, advice, or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Summary of the thread

A 2024 Seat Tarraco Hybrid is experiencing issues with its air conditioning and blower, suspected to be linked to an air conditioning error. A similar problem in a 2022 Seat Ateca was resolved by replacing a faulty climate control unit, which was identified through a full diagnosis at a workshop. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle diagnosed by a mechanic to determine if the climate control unit is the cause, with the possibility of a costly replacement if needed.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Hey there, I'm not a professional mechanic, but I've got some experience messing with cars. I had a similar problem with my 2022 Seat Ateca. Turns out, it was a faulty climate control unit that was causing the issue. I took my car to a local workshop I trust. They did a full diagnosis, pinpointed the problem to the climate control unit. Unfortunately, replacing it ended up costing me 880 Euro. Bit of a shock to the wallet, but it sorted out the issues. Do you know what model your climate control unit is? And, have you had it checked out recently at any workshop? That info could really help to narrow things down. Cheers!

Hey, thanks for getting back to me. My last check-up was at 148,122 KM and no issues popped up then. My climate control unit model? Not sure off the top of my head, will have to check when I get home. Sounds like I might be in for a hefty bill though. Time to start eating instant ramen to save up, huh? Cheers, appreciate the advice!

Hey again, Totally get your ramen plan, those unexpected car repairs can definitely be a shocker to the wallet! When you have time to check, just jot down the model of your climate control unit. But in the meantime, you might want to get your car booked in for a diagnosis with your mechanic. Fingers crossed it's a minor issue and not the entire control unit. But if it is, start prepared for a bit of an expense. If I can help with anything else, just let me know. Good luck with your Seat Tarraco! Keep me posted on how things turn out. Cheers!

Hey, The ramen plan is officially in motion! I'll certainly note down the details of my climate control unit once I'm able to check it and I've already started looking for a good time to book an appointment with my mechanic. Really hope it's not the entire unit that needs replacement, fingers crossed there. Really appreciate your help and advice! I'll be sure to keep you updated on the progress. Thanks a ton! Stay tuned and cheers!
