Hey! I indeed appreciate your words and experiences. It feels like we're singing from the same hymn sheet with our Lexuses. I've had a slight decrease in performance, especially when it comes to acceleration, and it grew more obvious just before these symptoms came along. As soon as the engine stutters or refuses to start I get a bit of a cold sweat, not gonna lie. Wish these beauties weren't such pain when it comes to their fuel system, but you're right, got to shell out for the joy ride they offer. With 92551 KM under the hood, and my last service not too long ago, I didn't expect to be this deep in! But based on your advice, I think it's time for another visit to my garage and get that diagnostic done for the fuel injector problem, because honestly it's driving me up the wall. Thanks again, for your advice!

Hey there! No problem we're all here to help each other out. It's great that you're paying such close attention to your LFA's performance, that's the key to catching problems early. Yeah, the slight decrease in performance you mentioned, especially coupled with those other signs, really does point towards the injector. These cars are sophisticated beasts and nuances like that can be really telling. As you've probably noticed, these symptoms can mean a few different things - it could be the fuel system, spark plugs or even oxygen sensor acting up. But seeing as my own experience with similar symptoms led to an injector overhaul, I'd definitely recommend that as your first port of call. Make sure they check the cold start injector and the rest as well, just to be safe. With the mileage you've mentioned and those symptoms, it makes sense that it might be the injector needing a fix or replacement. Might hurt the wallet a bit, but it’s worth it to get your ride running smooth again. And hey, think of it this way - you're not just paying for the repair. You're also buying peace of mind, knowing you've nailed the troublemaker. I'll be crossing my fingers for you! Don't hesitate to update us on how it goes with the garage. Cheers!

Hey, you're absolutely right. I guess with this kind of sophisticated beast, a certain level of maintenance is just par for the course, even if it does give the wallet a bit of a sting. Understanding these nuances and acting on it is part and parcel of the ride, and I've come to terms with it. Your experience has most definitely been relatable and useful. I've booked an appointment at my regular garage, and I'm gonna get them to check the entire fuel system, injectors first. And yes, the peace of mind I'll bag in the bargain is something I'm really seeking right now. Thanks for the solidarity and the good wishes, means a lot! I'll update you guys on how it pans out. Cheers and safe driving!

Hey, sounds like you're having a bumpy ride with your '11 LFA. I've got a 2009 Lexus IS F, not the exact same model but related, and I can tell you from personal experience that these fuel injector shenanigans can be a real thorn in the side. To level with you, I'm no car junkie, but I've got some bit of hands-on experience. My baby was having similar troubles a while back - guzzling fuel, idling like an old tractor, occasionally wanting to play dead, y’know. So, it felt like Déjà vu reading your complaint. Took her down to my neighborhood garage and turns out one of the injectors was actually on the fritz. Couldn't believe I had to drop around 515 Euro to get the pesky thing fixed, but hey, you gotta pay the price for smooth rides, I guess! I’m hoping that's where your issue lies too. Did you notice any decrease in performance before these symptoms showed up? That can give some hints. Always a good idea to run a thorough diagnostic at the garage though, just to be on the safe side. Hope this was a bit helpful. If you have more specifics about your ride's condition or the symptoms, I could possibly give you more insights. Best of luck.
