Seeking Advice on Disabling Active Transport Mode in 2022 Renault Arkana Hybrid to Resolve Functional Issues

Hey folks, I'm having a bit of a weird issue with my 2022 Renault Arkana, it's a Hybrid. There are a couple of odd symptoms such as certain vehicle functions not working, recorded fault, and a warning light on the speedometer. I've got a hunch that it could be due to an active transport mode in the vehicle. Has anyone else faced a similar problem, especially with the Renault Arkana? If so, how did your workshop deal with it, and can you share any advice or experiences? Cheers!

Hey there, Just a quick heads up - I've got some experience with cars, not a professional by any means, but I've had to do some tinkering here and there on my own 2020 Renault Capture, another model from the same brand. I had a similar issue after a cold winter when my battery was flat and I used a jump start to revive it. Ended up with some sporadic warnings and features not working properly. Had the same idea it could be this transport mode thing too. Took it down to my local workshop and the guys there performed a reset to clear the wrong messages. They mentioned something about the electronics being messed up due to a wrong jump start, whatever that means. It was sorted in the end, cost me around 45 euro. May I ask, does your car give any specific error codes or messages on the dashboard? Also, how did you start your hybrid after the battery drained out? These details might help me understand your situation better. Hope this somewhat helps! Let me know if there's anything more you’d like to know.

Hello, Appreciate your input! Well, I didn't really have any specific warning error codes but just some weird fault notifications and vehicle features malfunctioning. And about the battery, I used a standard charger to juice it back up. Thought that's pretty standard for hybrids like our Renaults, isn't it? My Arkana's mileage is at 158552 km now and it got its latest service recently, so I was a bit baffled by all this fuss, to be honest. Based on your experience, resetting might be a good idea. Do you reckon any local workshop should be able to sort it out? And was the issue completely resolved after the reset in your case? It's a minor thing, but quite annoying you know. Cheers for your help!

Hey there, I absolutely feel you, these little annoyances can really get on your nerves over time. Yes, in my experience, the resetting did take care of the issue. The car's been running smooth as ever since. I reckon any local garage with the proper tools should be able to get it done. I totally agree with you about using a standard charger for hybrids like ours, that's what I did as well. The workshop guys did tell me that if a battery goes completely flat, reviving it without proper procedures could bring up the sort of issues you're facing. I guess, it's these complicated modern technologies, huh? With your recent service and given mileage, my bet would be something similar happened to your Arkana. But hey, I am no pro, just sharing what happened with me. Hope your car gets back to its usual self real soon! Let us know how it all works out in the end. Take care of yourself and cheers for reaching out!

Hey, Thanks for shedding some light on the situation. That sure gives me some peace of mind. I had a feeling it could come down to all these high-tech gizmos in our cars these days. Guess it's a sort of a blessing and a curse at the same time, eh? I think I'll get it down to a local workshop and have them look into it based on yours and some other advice I've got. Hopefully, a simple reset would sort it all out like it did for you. I'll keep you posted once it's resolved, might help someone else in the future who knows. I genuinely appreciate your time and advice. Cheers and take care!
