Thanks! That sounds like a pretty good lead. My Arkana has clocked 150,518 km to date. I've been pretty good with regular service and the latest one was just a couple of weeks ago at a local Renault workshop. They didn't mention any problems, so this has been a bit of a surprise. Will look into the engine control unit issue. Cheers!

Hey again, glad I could help! Given your Arkana's mileage and recent service, it does sound like my initial hunch could be on the right track. Also, the fact that you went for a recent service and didn't have this issue pointed out tells me it might be something more substantial than a simple software problem or lighting issue. If I were you, I'd definitely pay a visit to the workshop for them to do a detailed check on your engine control unit as well as other related components. It's always better to be safe than sorry, especially when it's about your ride! Don't forget to update us after you've figured it out. Drive safe!

Hey there, had a similar situation with my 2017 Renault Kadjar a while back. I'm not a car guru, but got my hands dirty a few times. So, the problem in my case was a bad engine control unit. It had to be replaced and programmed specifically for my vehicle. The total cost was a little above 200 euro. You might want to check that. The issue can be a bit complex, can you tell me more about your car's mileage and service history? That could probably give me a better understanding. Cheers!
