Hey, thanks for the quick reply and sharing your experience! It's great to learn from others. My Sandero's been running smoothly otherwise, just crossed the 105892 KM mark last week. Had the last service done about two months back, and everything seemed fine then. I'll try to provide more details about my current issue as I get a better handle on it. Any more advice or personal experiences would be really appreciated! Cheers!

No worries! Always happy to share what I know. Given your car's running smoothly otherwise and recently serviced, it does sound like it might be something minor. Did your mechanic look into the heating system during the last service? If not, have your spray nozzle heaters inspected as a starting point. Sometimes, they can fail or a wiring issue can occur causing the nozzles to freeze up. Last winter, I had some issues with my Dacia Logan’s spray nozzles and it turned out to be a faulty heating element. Got it replaced for around 120 Euro and it’s been all good since then. Also, keep in mind that if you are using plain water in your windshield washer reservoir during cold weather it will easily freeze. If that’s the case, swapping it out for a proper windshield washer fluid could solve your problem. Let us know how your troubleshooting goes. Good luck with your Sandero!

Thanks again for the advice! No, my mechanic didn't check the heating system last time. I think I'll start by getting the spray nozzle heaters inspected. I'll also take a look at the windshield washer fluid, hadn't thought about that possibility. So, looks like I've got some understanding and a solid plan to go ahead with, thanks to you. I'll update you guys on how it goes. Cheers and wish me luck!

Hey there! I had a similar issue with my '07 Dacia Logan, so I can relate. Although my car knowledge is pretty basic, I try to learn as I go. I took my Logan to my local mechanic. After a detailed check-up, it turned out that my problem was due to a defective cable connection. He fixed it there and then, and it cost me about 155 Euro. To diagnose your Sandero issue accurately, I'd need more info about the current state of your car. Do post more details so we can help you better. Good luck!
