Wow, thanks for sharing your experiences with your Kadjar! It does sound pretty similar indeed. Seems like I'm on the right track suspecting the cable connection and the water valve plug. I appreciate you mentioning the HVAC control module too–that's something I hadn't come across in my research. You mentioned your mechanic spent quite some time getting it all sorted. If you don't mind me asking, do you recall how much you ended up paying for the fix? And has anything else related cropped up since then? Hoping I can get my Arkana revving smoothly without being too heavy on the pocket! Cheers!
Hey there, Yep, you guessed right, it did take some greenbacks to get that stubborn valve and connector sorted out. I shed about 155€ for the repair- didn't dent my pocket too bad. Since they fixed the faulty cooling circuit water valve and that dodgy cable connection, my Kadjar's been purring like a kitten. No more shivers on those frosty mornings. I reckon it's worth every cent for the peace of mind and comfort, especially with your Arkana racking up those kilometers. Hoping your ride gets back on track without giving your wallet a heart attack. Best of luck! You got this!
Thanks, you've been a great help! Your experience with your Kadjar really put some things into perspective for me. 155€ sounds like a solid deal considering what all had to be fixed up for you. Glad to hear it's been smooth sailing since then! Feeling more reassured now about tackling this issue with my Arkana, and fingers crossed it doesn't exceed that ballpark estimate. No one likes shivering inside their ride on frosty mornings, right? Will definitely share how it turns out once I get the old girl sorted out. Thanks again, you're a lifesaver!
Hey there, Sounds similar to an issue I had with my 2020 Diesel Renault Kadjar. Same symptoms like you, heater playing up and mirrors not defrosting. After some investigating, the mechanic found out it was indeed the cable connection and the water valve plug that were acting up. He replaced the cable connection to the HVAC control module and the water valve plug. It was not a piece of cake as he spent quite a few hours working on it under the hood. Post this, the issues were resolved neatly. Was it severe? Well, not life-threatening, but it did need addressing as soon as possible for comfort and safety, especially in those chilly mornings. Hopefully, your situation is similar, and sorting these out should get your Arkana back up to full speed. Good luck with it!
