You gotta understand, though, this was for fixing that pesky cable connection to the mirror that went kaput and the mirror glass plug connection that was a bit oxidized. Ever since these issues were sorted, I haven't noticed anything else heating up unexpectedly. As for tackling it yourself vs taking it to a professional - only you can answer that!
