Seeking Advice on Troubleshooting 2019 Renault Arkana's Blower Issues Possibly Linked to Rear Ventilation Flap

Hey, my 2019 Renault Arkana with a gasoline engine's been acting up, blower's not doing its job right. Got a hunch it could be a rear ventilation flap issue, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyone else had this problem and could advise on the best troubleshooting steps? Especially curious about your repair shop experiences. All tips appreciated!

Hey, Wow, your problem sounds ridiculously similar to something that happened with my 2017 Renault Kadjar. I reckon I've got some experience under my belt, definitely not an expert, but more than a newbie. Took my car down to my local workshop when I found the blower wasn't cooperating. Took 'em a day to figure it out, but turned out the Cable needed a servomotor. Paid around 170 euro for the fix. Just to put this into context, though, could you tell me a few things about your Arkana? Like, how many miles you've got on it, how often you service it, you know, the usual stuff. Might help me to share more specific details of my experience. Hope that helps a bit!

Hey there! That sounds rough, hoping I won't need the same fix, fingers crossed. As for your questions, my Arkana has done around 8989 km, and I got it serviced recently. It’s been driving nice and smooth until this blower issue cropped up out of the blue. You think this could still be a servomotor issue given the mileage? Let me know your thoughts, cheers!

Hey again! With the low mileage on your Arkana, it's a bit of a puzzler, isn't it? Still, the mileage doesn't completely rule out the servomotor. Things can malfunction for loads of reasons: faulty parts, bad luck, you name it. In my experience, the servomotor is often the source of blower-related issues, but again, I'm no mechanic, just speaking from personal experience. Might be worth getting your mechanic to check it out, considering what happened with my Kadjar. Your car's still new, and these things shouldn't really pop up so early, but hey, sometimes it happens! At the end of the day, even the best cars have their off days, right? Hope your Arkana gets back into gear soon! Keep us posted!

Hello, I appreciate your insights. You're right, even the best cars have off days sometimes. I'll definitely bring the car in to have it examined, servomotor you mentioned is now on my list. Wasn't really expecting this odd job with such low mileage, but hey, it is what it is. Will let you all know how it pans out. Thanks a ton for the helpful tips. Catch you later!
