Seeking Advice on Troubleshooting AC and Heating Issues in 2015 Fiat Doblo
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Fiat Doblo is experiencing issues with the AC blowing warm air and inadequate heating/cooling. The suspected cause might be a problem with the air quality sensor signal. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by fixing a defective sensor line, costing around 95 Euro. Additional suggestions include checking the refrigerant level and compressor, as these could also cause the AC to blow warm air.

Hey there! I appreciate you chiming in. My Doblo's currently clocked up around 135217 km, and I don't recall changing any significant part recently - you know, just the usual oil and filter changes on my last service. A defective sensor line could be a possibility, indeed. If that's the case, 95 Euro doesn't sound too terrifying. I'll definitely keep this in mind while going for a check-up. Thanks for the tip!

Sure thing! With over 135k km on your Doblo, sensor or line issues could indeed crop up. From my experience, I'd suggest having a mechanic also check the refrigerant level and compressor while you're there. Most of the time, a warm AC could imply low refrigerant or compressor issues. 95 Euro was my sensor fix, but be prepared, compressor issues could set you back a few more Euro. Definitely worth a look though, before your car turns into a sauna in the heat! Good luck with your checkup, hope it gets sorted out easily.

Oh, that's good to know! Your advice about the refrigerant level and compressor check is spot on - I hadn't thought about that. Yeah, the last thing I want is my car turning into a sauna. If it's a compressor issue, I guess some extra Euro would be better than dealing with this heat. I'll get her checked out regarding the pointers you've mentioned. Thanks a bunch for your help and well wishes. Cheers!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my 2013 Fiat Punto. I'm a car enthusiast but not a mechanic, so I just know a bit here and there. My workshop found that the issue was due to a defective line/cable from the sensor. Cost about 95 Euro, not too bad. Maybe you're dealing with the same bug. Any idea about your car's mileage or any recent part replacements? This might help me share more relevant details from my experience.
