Hey! Thanks for the reply! No other warnings or error messages, other than the one on the speedometer. Just crossed the 51k km mark with her, so was wondering if I'd overlooked some service routine. But yeah, I'm gonna take her to my usual mechanic this week and see if it's a cable issue like you mentioned. Fingers crossed it's nothing major. Thanks again for your advice, much appreciated!
Hey, glad you found my feedback helpful! Your mileage doesn't sound like a lot for a major issue to arise, but hey, cars can surprise us sometimes, can't they? Just a quick suggestion, while you're at the garage, get your mechanic to run a complete diagnostics check, just to rule out any other budding troubles. Remember, preventive maintenance is always cheaper in the long run. Keep us updated after your visit to the shop, curious to hear about what caused the issue and how it got resolved. Good luck hope everything turns out fine!
Absolutely! I'll definitely get him to do a complete diagnostics check to avoid any nasty surprises down the line. Preventive maintenance makes a whole lot of sense, indeed. Will keep you guys posted about any updates post-visit. Thanks again for all the help and positive vibes, really helped me out here! Cheers!
Hey there, I've faced something similar with my 2011 Lexus GS, not exactly the same model, but still a Lexus. I have some experience under the hood, but I'm no mechanic. I took my car to my local workshop, the mechanic there found out it was due to a defective cable, cost me about 95 Euro to get it all sorted out. Could you relay what other warnings or error messages you're getting? Maybe that way I could give you a bit more targeted advice. Hang in there car troubles can be a real pain!
