Thanks! It's refreshing to know it's not just my car being a pain. The issue with the electric seats in yours sounds pretty similar to what's happening with my Arkana. So it was a faulty cable connection for you? Well, that's a sigh of relief, thought it'd be something major. I was wondering, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you shell out for that cable replacement? I just want to get an idea of what I might be facing, y'know? Plus, has anything else major come up since then? I appreciate your help, by the way. Cheers!

Hey! Well, you breathe a sigh of relief! It got taken care of without ending in my bankruptcy thankfully, haha. It was a plug or cable issue indeed, threw me for a loop a bit, but got sorted eventually. I had to drop 95€ to square it away. For the peace of mind I got, can't complain about the price tag. Since then, the electric seats have been functioning as they should, no limitations or any other hitches. After the mechanic sorted everything out, it's all been smooth sailing, touch wood. Goes on to show a reliable mechanic indeed can fix things right up. I’d say it's better getting it looked at than worrying, y'know. So yeah, no other major issues sprung up after that and my trusted old Renault's been behaving pretty well. Good luck with your Arkana, they're fine models, these Renaults, when they're not acting up! Cheers!

Legends! Thanks for taking out time and sharing all the details. Your experience has actually relieved me quite a bit. €95 doesn’t sound horrid at all, especially for peace of mind. Sure enough, I'll stop being skittish and find a good mechanic who'd sort the problem out. It's time indeed to get the issue fixed. I mean, who needs seat adjustments acting up randomly, right? Indeed, Renaults are fantastic machines, worth every bit of our patience during these minor bumps. Will get my Arkana in tiptop shape soon. And yeah, fingers crossed for no more major issues! Your help's been invaluable. Thanks a lot for your insight! Cheers!

Hey there! I have a 2016 Renault Megane and had a similar problem not too long back. My electric seats were all over the place. The mechanic at my local garage found it was a faulty cable connection that was messing things up. He ran a full diagnostic, confirmed the issue, and replaced the busted cable. It wasn't a major issue, just really annoying for a while 'cause the seats wouldn't adjust properly. The thing with such issues is they can seem scarier than they really are. Just find a mechanic you trust, someone who won't beat around the bush and will get straight to fixing the problem. I've been there and I know how important trust can be when it comes to these issues. You got this! Cheers!
