Hey, appreciate the quick reply and your insight. Interesting to hear about your experience with the RC F, gives me a little peace of mind knowing it could just be the injector. Not fun for the wallet certainly, but sounds like it might fix the issue. I've clocked about 33446 km on my LC Hybrid so far. Haven't had any issues till now; so no services or replacements in the fuel system yet. I'll check to see about any recalls, good tip. But, considering the mileage and problems, a visit to the mechanics sounds in order, doesn't it? Thanks for the help!

Hey! I totally feel you. Car issues can be a bit unnerving, but it's great to see you taking it in stride! And with that mileage and no history of fuel system servicing, I'd definitely recommend taking your LC Hybrid to a mechanic. Injectors can be finicky little things and if one goes off, it can surely mess up your ride. Also, if you remember, try to describe all the symptoms in detail to your mechanic. Every bit of info can help them get to the root of the problem faster. And don't forget to keep us updated, yeah? We're all here for each other, and your experience could help someone who stumbles into the same problem down the road. Best of luck to you and your trusty ride! Stay safe. Cheers!

Hey! I needed to hear that - thank you! You're spot on, all this tech can get a bit much sometimes but it's part of the package, right? I'll definitely take all your advice on board, note down everything and take that trip to the mechanic. Thanks for taking the time to help out with this, really appreciate the support. I'll keep you all posted for sure - hope it's just the injector and not some gremlin in the works! Here's to getting my trusty LC back on top form, she's a beauty! Stay well and cheers for the help!

Hey there, I've had a similar issue with my 2019 Lexus RC F a while back. Just so you know, I have some experience with car issues, no expert, but I've learned a thing or two over time. It turned out for me to be a defective injector, exactly as you're suspecting. Took it to my trusted mechanic and after running their magic diagnostic tests, they confirmed it was indeed an injector that had gone for a toss. Cost me a clean 515€ to get replaced, including labor. Not the best day for my wallet, but hey, it solved the nasty symptoms. No black smoke or jerky accelerations anymore, and the fuel consumption went back to normal. Just a pointer, have you checked if any recall is in place for your model regarding this issue? By the way, how many miles on your LC Hybrid? And when was the last time you had any service or replacements done in the fuel system? The more info you give, the better we can figure out what's happening. Don't worry, we’ll get your ride sorted out! Cheers!
